Windows Networking Vs. SSH
Thursday, July 24th, 2008A couple of weeks ago I had to transfer a large amount of data across a network. It was about 30gb and I needed to copy it to 2 different computers. Since the files were on a Windows computer, I figured Windows file sharing would be the easiest way to go. The tricky part though, was the one of the computers getting the data was running Linux.
